The United Kingdom, officially known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is located off the North Western coast of mainland Europe, and consists of four geographic and historical parts which include: NORTHERN IRELAND, WALES, SCOTLAND, AND ENGLAND.

The Kennel Club governs the United Kingdom. It is not the English Kennel Club. It is the Kennel Club of the United Kingdom and is referred to as The Kennel Club.

The Irish Kennel Club governs SOUTHERN IRELAND. When I exhibit at their shows I abide by their rules, all my dogs have to be registered at the Irish Kennel Club. Making up Irish Champions is very difficult and very costly, but a great achievement.
